Okay, I have a line with ATT and so does my brother. We would like to combine our lines into a family plan. Does anyone know if that is do-able? w/o paying an ETF or one of us loosing our phone number?
Before I hear the rant “go ask ATT not NYSPEED!!!ZOMG” I know that at least one member on here works for ATT and may be able to offer some insight. Plus, ATT is closed right now and my ADD/OCD is gnawing at me to try and find some kind of answer…

yes. its doable. Did it once then merged in an additional line.
Its a transfer of service. Its easy. Call customer care tomarrow either 611 or 800-331-0500 and ask for the transfer of service department Northeast region.
One of you picks whos going to whose account, then they ask the person whose account that is becoming the family plan if they are willing to take over the financial responsibility of the line and the person moving has to agree to release their financial responsibilty of the line
Contract dates and everythign stay the same.
Thats all you need.
