thats not funny, its just gay. But maybe you’re into that kinda thing. I know theres not all that much to do out in Shelocta.

shit…9.5L…thats huge…last time i checked its a 7.0L

and if handling means soo much…then why did the first thing u bring up was what it did in the quarter mile??

just going by what was posted. Thats 580cubes just for reference.

because it didnt have a skidpad number to quote, and 10.06 aint bad for a car that isnt at ALL set up for drag racing.

ZL1’s are 427’s

and ya 10.06 ant bad…but that car is awd which helps and its prob. has a awsome suspension too…oh ya…ZL1 cost almost half as much as the Nissan…

dont get me wrong…my fav. import is a Skyline!!! id take one anyday…but im also showing some info on other cars…

$80,000 for a Camaro is totally unacceptable.

one that goes right out of the box and does 9’s??? idk…170 for a skyline is pricey

yes. Because with heads, cam and a blower you can do the same thing, for a shitload less. A TT LS1 > 427.

A Skyline is already a classy as fuck car. Its a supercar. And with the performance its putting up, pulling 10 flat 1/4mile and probably well over 1.0G, its pretty much the baddest production based factory offered car ever built. That Camaro is just a $20,000 Camaro with a big engine in it.

it has a LS1 427…

Either way, that skyline > Ford GT. Like the title of the thread says.

same thing as paying 170 for a nissan… same as paying 75k for a vette…you get what you pay for in performance. its not about the brand anymore

I didnt say it wasnt worth the money because it was a Chevy, I said that its not worth 80 grand because its a moslty otherwise stock $20,000 car with a big engine in it. Let me do the hard math for ya. Thats $20,000 for the car, $60,000 for the engine. A LS1 427 is not worth $60,000.

That Skyline is a $90K car to begin with. They molded carbon fiber into the floorpans to add rigidity, the suspension on it is no bullshit no holds barred racing suspension straight out of real race cars. It brakes and makes 1.6G of force. And its a 3500lb full weight street car. It is a Supercar stripped down to the bone and rebuilt by racing engineers given free reign and unlimited budget. Its the ultimate Skyline, better than any tuner shop has ever built. Some may be faster, some may handle better, but they are stripped to nothing shells. This is all Skline. All that and it smokes the GT by 1.7 sec in the 1/4. The S7 by almost a full second. There isnt really anything that can touch it. You’ll rape Enzos and McClarens like they were Civics. When you put it up against that competition $170 large isnt so much.

swaaaaaaaaaing

find me one, with an american vin

Skyline is not a supercar, it is a GT car.

the 2002 Production Camaro ZL1 is actually about $80,000, and hot rod magazine did a build up on it, and if you tried replicating it yourself, it would prob cost you about $77,000 to build, including car. So it is a steal. Does it handle? Yes it does.

Where that Skyline is nice, it is def not worth $170,000
