Well after a few weeks and a lot of praying, it’s all paid off and I’m the proud owner of an R32 Nissan Skyline!
Before I get in to the details I’d first like to thank Gabe over at Japaneseimports.ca (check out www.japaneseimports.ca ) for making my dream come true. He got me EXACTLY what I wanted, the car is MINT and he gets nothing but MAD PROP’s from me. If your looking for a rhd car for sure give Gabe the same oppertunity to make your dream come true.
So details, here we go.
1990 R32 Nissan Skyline GTS-T Type M, bone stock (so it has’nt been abused by the kids in Japan), NO RUST, mint frame, 101K km’s on it, RB20det engine, clean interior and even original paint. The car drives like a dream, makes power all the way through the rpm band and through me back in my seat when I played a little with her. In 2nd gear at 3500rpm’s on came boost and back in to my seat I went  . At 6500rpm’s it still wanted to keep going too so I must say I am VERY impressed with the RB20 motor. Phil and I have BIG plans for this car and I’ll keep you all informed on what transpires as it happens this season.
Tomorrow I plan on re-setting the ecu, oil/filter change, bottle of injector and octane boost and of course…at bath. After approx 1000km’s I’ll change the oil again, tranny oil and diff too and new plugs.
Now the pic’s I took did’nt really do the car justice but it’s dark and I’ll slap a few more up tomorrow after her bath but untill then, here ya go.
So thats her and as I said I’ll get better pic’s tomorrow. It’s funny how all this happened too. Gabe and I were just talking and talk turned in to action and boom, Skyline. It’s been in the works since early December and it’s amazing how fast this all came about. Please don’t ask how much I paid as it’s a personal thing between Gabe and I.
skylines are no hot toast, they are heavy, and don’t handle as well as you’d think. Plus the RB20 motor is creating a huge bottle-neck for the capability of the car.
oh btw, enjoy turning left in rush hour traffic. I suggest mounting a camera in the passenger pillar and investing in a nice screen, just so you can see whats going to hit you.

I do have some plans for this car and most likely they will consist of a GTR hood, grill and bumper, fmic, boost controller, intake, exhaust, coilover’s and hopefully some nice rims. I’ll turn the boost up to 10psi ish and yeah that should be fun. This is pretty much what Phil and I have in mind and it will be done in stages but this is Phase 1.
There’s lots more we want to do but there’s no rush as I’m gona have this car for a while.
no need to hate, just casue it wouldnt be your car of choice doesnt call for bashing, and just casue you have seen a gtr sitting in a garage are you some sort of gift to the automotive world, my buddies GF has a 360 modenam what does that make me?
if it were me i would have got it in a sedan, but i just love r32 sedans, so pimp, sweet none the less, cant wait to see the progress, and pics
…this dude must be positively orgasming right now.
Yes, because 2 months is certainly a long time to get to know the capabilities of a car… especially with it sitting in your “shop”. You must be an expert by now.
BTW, for the record, the R32 is only a little bit heavier than an S13, better balanced, and the RB20 motor is capable of just as much (or more) power as (than) an SR20.
