Yeah, but global warming isn’t a scientific concern (regardless of whether or not man’s activities are warming the planet). It’s a political debate topic masquerading as science.
Proving that the earth has been a lot hotter than this many times before won’t do anything to global warming. Prove that taking a popular stance on emissions laws won’t get your campaign funded, and global warming will go away.
I could understand that it would just be a political debate if it were only going on in this country. But it’s moved far beyond debate in much of the rest of the world. The UK, Africa, and most of Europe have moved from debate to acceptance and then to action.
The US does need to get over itself, and stop thinking they’re the only people on the planet.

this shit makes me laugh… the weatherman can’t tell us what is going to happen later on today but we know how warm/cold it was 400,000 years ago :picard: . anyway i like the green house effect, buffalo is getting warmer and i enjoy watching the inclement weather so it works for me
