Because you cant knock the bands musical talent… unless your just a dope when it comes to music. Any idiot with a base of musical talent can write and play dumpy shit like nickel back. I will bet my first born child that DMB makes more money than Nickel back.
Anyone who can play a musical instrument fluently has a special talent. From experience, acoustic is one of the easiest guitars that you can learn to play.
“Everyday” is an F-minor, b-flat, and a C chord. I could probably learn most of that song in less than 10 minutes, and I haven’t played in over a month.
Dave can play 6 and 12 string acoustic guitars as well as the electric guitar. Violinist can play the violin like a guitar. Saxophone player can play alto, tenor, and bari sax as well as the clarinet. Not to mention, the drummer is phenomenal.
That’s because he’s a talented, professional musician. However, I bet he can’t play a solo like Angus Young. 
Do you honestly go to DAVEEEEE concerts in order to actually listen to his music? :lol The stigma that goes along with his music is 1000x worse than the actual music itself. I wouldn’t say it’s BAD music, because like you said it takes talent to play some of those songs like he does.
It’s like aids, I guess. No matter how good the sex is I would want no part of it.
I haven’t gone in awhile… and when I did I would have a few beers. Trust me, I would not pay forty dollars to stand around for 4 hours just to be part of a crowd. He puts on a great show, if you enjoy the music.
And yes, I guarantee dave has the aptitude to play a solo like that, its just not his style.
