Meh, there is “ZERO COMPARISON” between skiing in UT/CO/NV and plenty of other places outside the US.
If you enjoy skiing at HV, then more power to you.
If you think skiing Park City is the holy grail, then you’ve got another thing coming…
^Park City aint shit. Ski Solitude, Snowbird or better yet Jackson Hole Wyoming.
Been there done that. Good times.
Did I say it was the holy grail? :picard:
But for someone who’s on their 5th season of boarding… never boarded anywheres other than HV… It’s pretty damn amazing in comparison.
My lift ticket yesterday was 25$ from 3:30 til 10pm:shoot:
uh. read above :Cjerk:
uhh?
Great, you commented on the price. :Cjerk:
Pretty sure we were talking about the price difference of kb/hv. There was a price comparison, not a acreage of the resorts, not the experience. No one said anything about skiing on your hill in your backyard.
I Don’t understand why people can’t grasp shit on here
I have the worst sense of balance and i would die on anything strapped to my feet but for a split second I wanted to learn how to ski when I was on top of few peaks at whistler. I can see paying a lot of money to be able to ski there however.
Skiing is pretty easy, you can get the hang of it after a few times out. I would probably rate myself as “shitty” but I can still make it down all the hills without falling lol. If you have no balance I wouldn’t rexomnd snowboarding, but I think everyone can handle skiing
I may, and if I do I definitely have to get bad out to Vancouver. It was amazing, not to mention the Whistler village was fun as hell.
Exactly. Snowbird / Alta are much better than anything up the PC canyon IMO.
I prefer the CO skiing to UT, but SLC is very easy to get in and out of for weekend trips. For big snow I’d vote Jacks and for a real trip (in North America) I’d head up to BC. I am anxious to go back to BC post Olympics.
They all pale in comparison to Europe IMO. I hope to get my first southern hemisphere trip in this summer though, now that will be sweet.
The point was that your thread sucked. Not that skiing out west wasn’t infinitely better than skiing in New York. Shit, skiing in New England is better than skiing in New York.
