i like starboy’s best. i didnt even realize it looked like the cbs logo until someone pointed it out. i would still use that as a base for the logo.
and my old man’s business has a simple name and it does OK. J&D Fleck Paint Co. (his kids’ initials)
I think the business name is fine… When ppl are looking for a company to clean their pool in the yellow or white pages, they’re not gonna be looking for some funny name… They’re looking for a pool cleaning service… something down to business, no dickin’ around… I like both whitey’s and starboy’s designs… i think i like whitey’s better tho… it’d look really good ona business card…

A business name should be easily recognizable as well as give a short and as precise as possible idea of what the company does.
OC Pool Management, while possibly being a little bland, will be easily remembered and with a quality logo will be easily recognizable…
Only problem I see is that there are going to be so many “OC’s” down there that it may possibly be mixed in with other things.
Not a great name, but I think it will suffice for Darkstar.
Advertising in quality publications and doing so in areas where potential customers are able to see his information will be the most important part of getting his Management company off the ground.
