ATTN: VW Gurus, Badnewsmike, Swiderski, etc.

So, my MKIV Golf TDI decided to blow up on Friday and I need it fixed.

As I was on my way to school, the oil light came on. I pulled over, checked the dipstick, there was no oil on it, although I had checked it a few days prior and it was normal. I added two quarts, started to drive again, and the oil light came back on, clouds of white smoke started shooting out, revs started jumping from 1-2 and the car would not go past 2k. Made it to school and left the car there since.
I’ve read through a bunch of threads and I’m thinking it is possibly the turbo?

I’ve been trying to contact Swiderski to get it fixed but have yet to receive a response. If you guys would see it on here faster, PM me so that I can bring it in if you have availability. Otherwise, if anyone else would be able to check it out/ fix it for a reasonable rate, please respond or PM me, I’d like to get this into a shop ASAP.

bushing turbo, likely blew one of them out, and blew all/most of the oil out of the exhaust. Justin’s number in his his signature, including his cell phone. Pm’s are for craigslist missed connection

Called both numbers Friday and left a message, no response.

Sorry we didnt get back to you, I just shot you a pm. My cell is also in my sig, justin is often very busy but dont give up. shame i didnt get this sooner today was a slow day at the shop.

Update: Dropped it off for these guys last night.
They’re very knowledgeable, and Mike probably knows everything there is to know about VWs. Definitely a couple of stand-up guys.
