definitely. still have a hard time seeing the module being bad.
audis and vw,s have quircky elec gremlins so it could be a prob that just surfaced from another prob but i would check the plug itself like ya said and just outright unplug it and see what happens .or like i said get it scanned and see what comes up and go from there

VW/Audi are strange. i did plugs on my GTI when i was stock turbo/stock ignition coils. put it back together, and i was mis-firing from a failed ign. coil.
disrupt the connection just right with the battery connected and you can fry something easy. probably what happened. shorted it out and the ABS Control Module took the hit.
Logical explanation. I didn’t think to disconnect the battery at the time. I am going to recheck connections under the seat and disconnect the battery when I am back in town. Not a huge deal… as a matter of fact I personally REALLY dislike ABS. I feel that it was designed for blond women.
