All of us know of plenty of cars that have NO emissions equipment being driven on the street. That doesn’t make them street cars, which is, of course, exactly my point.

I actually know of someone who has done this in a slightly reverse direction. It was a Viper V-10 converted to Alcohol, but it remained EFI. So far as I know, it worked out fine… I think he was shooting for 2000 horsepower if I recall correctly. I believe he also had an OEM intake manifold entirely redesigned to accept some type of a top feed blower which would protrude through the hood. I never saw a finished product, but i am sure it is/will be sick.
