Friend Tim just got his car started up.....

Friend Timmy down in LI finally finished up his home brewed monster. It’s been over a year since I was last at his place and saw his car. Looking to head down in a week or two to get a ride first hand but for the time being here’s a brief rundown for you guys.

-Built motor > GT3 oil pump and IMS, custom machine GT3 cams, carrillos, Porsche Motorsport RSR heads with 10mm plugs(big f-ing valves), Porsche Motorsport RSR intake plenum,…it’s about a $40K build if you could even get half the parts he has. He has major connections with PCNA, lucky bastard :smiley:

Motec M880 controller. He built full one off 935 RSR style headers, custom intercoolers, etc. 1" fuel lines and rails from a Weldon 2345-A. Currently running his older PTE 5857’s but he has 6262’s to go in after 6 more secondary injectors go in. Currently running six FIC 2150cc’s on it now. Oh and it’s E85 for those wondering.

He flew in a Motec engineer to oversee the tuning locally, car was making an estimated 1150BHP at only 1.35 bar of boost, based on the fuel flow going in. They couldn’t keep the car from shredding tires on the dyno and didn’t get a consistent readout but he wasn’t worried about that as the car isn’t completed yet.

For the time being he’s holding off on more until he can get in the secondary injectors, and see if he’s running out of pump. He is tossing around the idea of doing a 16volt conversion on the car, or possibly running a larger Weldon mechanical pump that’ll flow a wee bit more fuel than the already compressor size pump he has in the car now. He ditched the AWD front diff a long time ago and the fuel pump now resides in it’s place(pump is fucking huge)

Just wait until the bigger turbos goes on, more fuel is added, and the boost is about doubled. Man pants will be needed.
