You don’t need bars at all when starting out. My EK didn’t have bars, and it was still a good time.
its a 98 which as stated is 22mm, and i was thinking of stepping up to a ASR setup, but its a hefty price tag of $510.
So r-comps are out. I have gc/koni set-up and people are saying no sway bars. So I guess I have a decent set-up as is, but I do plan on picking up a cusco 3-point tower for the front and trading for some billet lcas(rear). As long as im pulling the suspension I might as well throw those in there now. Any other input would be helpful as well.
As a side note, from the research ive done the CRX rear ends are weak and the sway bars help it from literally not falling apart, which is why I was thinking of immediately upgrading. Has anyone had a problem with the CRX rear end?
I never had an issue with mine.
get a simple 3 or 4 point harness, you can improve a lot faster if you’re not fighting the car to stay in your seat.
do you daily drive this car? take this into consideration when picking spring rates and tires. I’m running rt-615’s and they get scary when it is downpouring because of the lack of grooves. and if you go too stiff on the spring rates your not going to like driving the car on WNY’s mangled streets.
oh come on, the falken 615 fine in the rain unless you’re out of tread or your talent bag is a little empty.
you want to compare sizes? whip it out bish
Both of you need to go back to the kiddie table. The adults are talking.
cool, come to find out alot of aftermarket sway bars that are reasonably priced are 22mm-23mm, which is obviously pointless in buying.
i have a set of corbeaus with harnesses, so i should be good there. thanks for the input.
yes i do. Im probably going to run the dunlops which have been reviewed as handling well in the rain as well as dry conditions.(yes its my daily) and as far as spring rates, i plan on going with 400/500 or 400/450, itll be alittle stiff for the streets, but i can deal with it.
500lb springs aren’t that rough for the street. Well, maybe since you have corbeaus, it might not be the greatest…
