Post your suspension setups

Like it says post em pictures are great too!

I’ll start: Fully Adjustable Ksport with Megan LCA’s

PIC performance APEX
PIC performance LCAs

soon: ASR brace with a sway

K-Sport Kontrol Pro coilovers. Nothing else yet.

stock sti shocks/struts
stock sti springs
cusco OS front strut tower brace
whiteline solid 24mm adjustable front sway bar
whiteline solid 24mm adjustable rear sway bar
whiteline fully adjustable front and rear sway bar spherical endlinks

Tein Basic Coilovers
SPT Front Strut Tower Brace
H&R Rear Camber Bolts

AD double adjustable custom valved dampers
GC plates
Eibach ERS springs 800lbs square
Offset front control arms for caster
Front roll center spacers
28mm front sway
back to stock rear way

Settings vary. Its by far the part of my car paid most attention to.

From Blue DA above, looks hawt:

Stock F-bod suspension

Weak front springs increase body roll :sad
over sprung rear springs help induce understeer :headbang
dealer replaced struts and shocks. Its nice they were replaced but they are not even firm enough for stock springs :angry2
less than optimal torque arm placement and lower control arm angle

sounds like it handles wonderfully :lol thats ok i have a stock suspension to but its actually ok but it has the “sport tuned suspension” whatever that means because it is a wolfsburg

edit: heres what europeancarweb had to say about it: The Wolfsburg’s fully independent suspension, calibrated with stiffer settings for both struts and springs, is comprised in front of a MacPherson strut system with coil springs and lower wishbones; at the rear is a track-correcting torsion beam axle with high-volume rubber bushings, gas-pressurized shocks and coil springs. In both the front and rear, stabilizer bars are used for improved body-roll control.

Having too much (too stiff) spring in the rear induces oversteer, not understeer.

my bad… the tiny rear sway bar induces oversteer. Either way I have both lol

Tiny rear sway bar induces understeer, not over steer. ;D

my GTA has stock suspension and apparently because it’s a special edition it has ‘performance suspension’…but we’re talking 1987 here, handles rather well though i must say.

Kyb AGX Shocks
Omni power Adjustable Coil Sleves
Omni power Camber kit and UCA’s
Suspension Techniques 19mm Rear swaybar
Stock Front Strut bar
Carbing Rear Strut bar.

Joey, I just have to ask… do you like the civic more or the GTA?

Buddy Club N+

jetta:
-“plus suspension” taken from '95 passat
-16v neuspeed sport springs
-boge turbo gas shocks
probably more i’m forgetting…

definitely want a better drop, we’ll see.

bmw:
-eibach sport-system (shocks, springs, bumpstops)
-x-brace
-lemforder offset lcab’s

have but not installed:
-powerflex urethane rear subframe bushings
-powerflex urethane rtab’s
-rear subframe reinforcement plates
-akg motorsport rear alu. adj. control arms w/ spherical endlinks
-rogue engineering rsm’s

think that covers it…

My GTA handled pretty good I must say… Mine had the 1LE suspension which was supposed to be the shit back then. Honestly my Trans Am handles pretty decent I was just joking but there are definately some areas I want to address and I think SCCA AutoX champ Sam Strano can give me some help.

Strano springs and sway bars, Koni struts, and a few geometry adjustments and I should be schooling some Evos

Upper and lower tubular arms with durometer rose joints
Caster and camber adjusters at all four corners
CAD designed monocoque bearing uprights with CNC’ed bearing carriers
CNC’ed billet 1:1.2 bellcranks
Chromoly pushlinks with rose joints
Inboard pushrod actuated K Sport coilovers for mockup, DMS or Motons maybe when all said and done

:mwahaha

Eh, the ‘usual’ honda stuff:

GC coilover sleeves w/ Eibach ERS 600F/600R
Koni yellows (OTS valving)
Suspension Techniques rear sway bar w/ spherical bushing endlinks (no front sway bar)
Energy Suspension master bushing kit (w/ Prothane bushings to make up the rest not covered in the ES kit)
…and lots of cleaning/greasing on a yearly basis - sticky bushings suck.

Oh, and ebay-special lower front & rear tie bars. Helps keep things from hitting the header, that’s probably about the only real function they serve.

MOTON= BIG BALLER STATUS… man what i would do to have some of those… :ninja
