How do guys have so many issues?
I’ve gone through many and been fine…although I now use touchless ones in the winter (which are no where near touching any part of my car) or hand wash my car in the warm weather at home. Are you guys pulling in the spot like you’re supposed to (not too far left or right)? Those things are on rails, I doubt they would get closer/further from your car by themselves. I mean they move a little when they first start but after that I’ve never seen them violently move, etc.
The one in Glenmont (across from the cemetery) is very nice too.
That same wash tried to eat my car 2 weeks ago… I was 1/4 way through then the doors decided to close on me… I slammed the car in reverse, and gunned it… Long story short, I was stuck in there for a second wash… The owner reimbursed the person behind me since I took their wash…
Between my fathers truck, my long ass 300ZX, the M30 which is about 6 inches longer than the Z and every other car I’ve run thru a touch less car wash has never been a problem, im guessing someone dident pay attention to the Pull forward and stop signs it flashes at you so it doesn’t hit your car. Not saying it doesnt happens sometimes, machines do malfunction but most of the time any incident i’ve heard turned out to be the drivers fault

Why would you gun your car in reverse if the doors were closing? All you would accomplish there is fucking up your car or the wash or both and have to pay the damages yourself… :wtf

That wash on Union St. sucks. It’s nice because it’s about two minutes from my house but I’ve had it die on me at least three times in the middle of the wash cycle before I swore it off for good. The one in Scotia next to the Air Museum is pretty good it just always has a line and I have yet to try the one on Campbell and Burdeck but I’ve been meaning to. Good luck with your claim and police report.
