Quite possibly the last auto x at this site as there has been very low participation. As of right now there are only 2 people registered, including me. A typical autox you pay $50 and get around 6-8 runs if you’re lucky. I’ve gone to events where you get 5. This event is $40 and should get 8-10 runs easy, maybe more.
Anyone is welcome to come out and race. Its a small fun but serious and safe group. Very beginner friendly. If you are completely new or even iffy about autox come to this event. Its more laid back than other events and the group that runs it has some great instructors. Its also in a baseball stadium which has had a game going on each time I’ve gone to the autox. This means there is food cooking and clean bathrooms right on site.
Beginners just need to bring themselves and their car. Loaner helmets are on site. Its a good idea to bring a mini cooler with water, sun tan lotion and some food just incase the stadium isnt open.
You can either pre-register at the link above (don’t need to pay when you do) or just show up the day of. Its a good idea to show up by 8am. The basic procedure when you show up is park and go say Hi!
Usually registration isnt set up that early so empty out your car, check tire pressure, talk smack to your rivals. That’s you scooby owners 
Go register your car and pay the fee then once enough people are registered someone comes around to “tech” your car. They basically make sure your car is empty of loose objects and has decent tires.
Most important part of the morning. Walk the course!! For beginners find me or anyone else that knows what they are doing and walk the course with them so they can explain the cones. Walk a few laps with the person then a few by yourself to make sure you got it down.
Everyone huddles up for the drivers meeting then its off to the races!
Ask for an instructor to sit in your car the first few laps so you can get used to the course.
Everyone come out and race!! This group isnt going to use this site anymore because hardly any one comes out. I have no affiliation with the group running. I’m not even a member, haha. But I love racing with them because its a small friendly group and you get plenty of runs for cheap. So come out and help show them its worth continuing to host events at this site.
