If anyone on SON buys this I will be more than impressed.

are there not diff/ axle conversions that can be done for way cheaper? can u just explain why this is better?

This guy on SON is selling it…

so 10,000 later ill have a shiny fuel cell and a diff to replace the one that hasnt broken in 20 years ! Im so FEED up lol

yea. this wont sell. but glws

There’s a few 240s in Ontario already running this setup, pretty sure with a winters quickchange. Same as what most super late and pro late oval track cars run.

^ Which def don’t cost anywhere near $7500

well 2000 of that is labour…

Mhahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

you’re trying to sell jay leno car money shit to drifters.

GLWS.

axles alone is $2000, diff is $3500 and labor is $2000

this is a combo ill be doing in the very near future

Total weight difference please? or at least total weight of this diff. assembly.

What is the current final drive in it?

any final drive you want, i’ve seen gears put in these diffs from a 3.20 ish to a 6.90 and it takes about 15 minutes to do

gear options and time (hence the name quick change) is the main reason these exist.

its a normal differential flipped around, and the driveshaft goes under it and into a gearbox, then into the back of the diff, all you do is pull the rear cover off and pull your two gears off, slide other ones on with a different ratio and your back at er’

I meant whats in it now though?

yah it seems very cool, and quite useful.

lol but i dont see a time that i need to quickly change a diff in 15min? ahaha regardless I’m still interested in it for other factors

You just buy whatever gear you want they’re $70 a set and you can flip them around (put a 3.32 in backwards you get 6.02)

I also agree these are complete overkill for a drift car. More of an oval track thing for a traveling series

these are actually very VERY important in the top level of competitive drifting

just for the weight loss or reliability or? curious

I’m guessing that since pro drifters must see a lot of different tracks they can switch out ratios that best suit that track for their powerband or whatever.

Gearing changing is great for different tracks but also pants brakes axles non stop this year and that would help him out alot too LOL
