Velocity stack it looks like… for inside the intake plenum.

siiiiiiiick

The velocity stack goes inside the plenum on turbo cars. Giving the turbo car the same velocity stack benefits of a NA car. The picture looks like the early mock up stages of the intake manifold.

thats pretty cool , i bet it moves pretty damn good. a vid would be awesome

Is there a valve associated with the stack? On a “normal” velocity stack the throttle plate would be the valve correct?

Sorry… I have never seen it, or heard of it being done.

There doesn’t need to be a throttle plate with the velocity stack in this instance. My understanding of it is to streamline the air as it enters the runner from the plenum. You would definately need a valve if there were no plenum.
