I’m pretty sure this is rare since I’ve never seen one of these before. This is a bolt on velocity stack made by GReddy. This product is mainly aimed at those looking to maximize the efficiency of their intake setup. Offers?
I could be wrong, but it looks like there’s supposed to be a filter that goes on the outside of the mesh there, and a screw that goes on top with a cover or something… Especially since there’s so much room between the mesh and the outer edge of the back plate.
I’ve never seen one before either though, so that’s all just speculation

Actually there are many cars out there that run just open velocity stack(s) with no filter and a lot of the time not even a mesh. With that being said, you can still probably fit some type of filter element if you really wanted to.

probably, maybe, I dunno. I guess you can throw a filter element in there, wouldn’t be hard.
