Yeah, I should have been more clear. I don’t care if I give up 10 seconds on an autocross course this year. While I could make the GTO competitive for autocross, at least locally, I won’t be doing it this year. So autocross is just going to be going out and having some fun.
Basically I want something to put on when I remove the snows that I can hit a few autocrosses with, really enjoy on the street, and won’t fall apart if I find the time to hit a track day. The car came with “high performance all seasons” that suck at everything, and I’ve been told after a couple laps at a track day they will start chunking. Hell, I’ve seen the motortrend review of the goat where they did chunk the same tires I have after about 3 laps.
