Back from paradise.

X2, why would you give the address up until your finished going through it. You could possibly let thousands of dollars slip away.

Yeah after I got over my indignation it made a lot more sense, if I were in the same position i’d keep the place a secret too

worst case scenario i’ll probably just hit up the shop Sobo represents and see what they picked up

x2

I call BS on some of these “supposed” super cars. Don’t get me wrong, there may be a '69 Camaro or 2 in there, but they ain’t ZL-1’s or Yenkos. No fucking way would they be sitting out in the open, and noone has heard about it until April 13th, 2009. People see a plain jane car like a Coronet with a 318, but from 50 feet, it’s a GTX with a Hemi, etc, etc.

I JUST WANT MY PART

:needpic:

ultradrivers custom title rules. that is all.

pics?

:fu:

yep, just as I suspected. No pics, no return by the OP.

Either he got dogged by his boss, or his holy iPhone has no reception in the sticks.

Will Sobo end up being real cool or a total fool?

Only pics will tell.

sweet.
this is like the HRK thread about the corvette

Yea but figure how many of you speeder’s actually have a trailer and would go down there for another project? There is maybe 5 of you that would travel, and a couple of you MIGHT grab a car for a friend. You certainly wouldn’t be wiping out the lot.

I think its better than letting them sit there and rot some more. All for auto preservation here!

If this is real and he gave me the address, I’d grab $10,000 and 5 spots on car trailers that my friends have. And I’m sure many others would too.

true story

If I had the address, I’d give it to you to see the cars restored.

I’m sure we can convince sobo to give out the address.

Except for the fact there probably is no address. I hope I eat my words and see some hot cars but I have a feeling the only classics we will see are excuses:violin:

he’s probably just trapped down in a well by the new buffalo bill…no big deal

Sobo, PM me when / if You get back to this thread.

I’m back boys.

Sorry for the delay, I stayed there over night and then left last night at about 9pm and got home around 630am(We pulled over for a nap)

The junkyard is located on the outskirts of Altoona, PA. I wasn’t trying to let anyone know because when it comes down to it the less people who know the better. We still got fucked. The Hemi Cuda got taken from underneath us along with a GTO that we had no idea was even there in the first place.

Let me explain the whole situation. The old man that owns this land was one of those people to drive cars into his back yard and let them rot. He is in bad condition now being an older man, and contracted us to liquidate the entire yard. This was personally the first time I went, however the company has been up there 3 times. We scrapped 9 cars while there and got $1600.

As of right now the only cool things we grabbed were the GTX, a 1970 firebird, a 1970 Trans am, the Yenko, and a willys knight.

The old man seemed to have a taste in cars, he loved cadillacs. That’s what a big majority of the yard composed of. There were cadilacs from the 1950’s all the way to 1980’s. Some chevy cars (50’s era), some buicks, a few trucks, a Willy’s Knight, a lot of RV’s.

The place was a shit hole. It was rainy and 40 the entire time and I’m sick as a dog right now. But here are some pictures.

PS: Sorry for any discrepancies from my previous posts.

Interesting definition of paradise, but I can dig it. Cool bone yard.

What’s the company? Are you restoring these?

It’s route 16 auto.

We kinda do all the restoration shit on the side my boss is an f-body guy so the pontiac TA(which will use that firebird for doner parts) will be restored and when the time comes the Yenko will too(it’s still in pa)

Some of the shit there was really cool and i didnt get a chance to take a picture of it. My phone died <30 minutes into being there. The yard is approximately 10 acres of wall to wall packed cars.

I could get a picture of it all because its like a forest junkyard not a field one…
