back pressure question

im starting an intense project, one of the things that has come up is i have to shorten and modify one of the down tubes. its a v6 twin turbo motor, one turbo for each bank. the steering linkage will be in the way on the drivers side. i am going to custom make my exhaust so i have some options.
each of which the drivers side has to be modified. i dont have the motor yet so i am still planning. all this is going off vague information i found on this swap.

seperate exhaust tubes(one for each bank)

y pipe to single tube

or and x pipe (like the flowmaster kit)

which would be the best? i dont really know anything about back pressures and all that but i dont need a burnt blown or broke turbo or anything else.

Turbos hate back pressure (hurts spool time, peak boost and hence torque), so the widest most free flowing exhaust is what you want.

My Z is setup like what you’re trying to build; V6, TT. I have 2 separate exhausts all the way back, but some people run x-pipes. Honestly I haven’t seen any performance difference looking at dyno charts over the years.
