Today I saw a '67 Shelby GT500 with a 427. This is the coolest car I’ve seen in person. Apparently, there were only 47 of these made with the 427. This car sold for $1.2 million to a guy that owns 20+ of those crab fishing boats. I didn’t get a chance to get any pics but I’ll get some if I go back out to where this car is.
You know it’s coming
:needpic:
But yes that is an awesome car.
awesome cars, side oiler motor, not many built, should of gotten pics. My fathers had the 428. Not many of these cars still around.
Side-oiler 427s are proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.
^^^ haha i caught that too…
Damn you need pics of that car.
oops, lol no just one…
IIRC correctly there was a 68? torino gt at one of the ford shows around he a couple of years back it had the 428 nascar motor in that was a tight fit
I know someone with a 427 side oiler in their garage…right next to a chevelle ls6 a boss 302 ,a gt350 and a cobra R
that torino is hott:burnin:
Yup that was pretty much it though I think it was green, the engine was friggen huge
so here’s a question…now…when you were younger and learning about the birds and the bees…did your dads give you the talk or a lesson? and most importantly…did you like it?
Did it look like this minus my cousin
Carol shelby can adopt me any day
LOL that kid is awesome.
Doubtful as that’s a '69/70. Although that’s a fuggin nice car.
