94 cobra. It’s a 331 with a vortech s trim, 5sp, loud and rumbly. Viper blue paint. Drove the car from virginia, it runs excellent, almost 20mpg on the highway. I’m lucky to get 10 around town.
95 Subaru Impreza, 1.8 AWD 5sp, runs absolutely perfect, super quiet and smooth. Leaks gas from the tank when filled above half, sloppy shifter bushing, and rusty. No CD but has cold AC.
Thanks, the car has already run 11.66 @ 123 with the 11psi pulley on there now and MT DOT slicks(came with the car on stock 16in wheels) With the 13.5psi pulley it went 11.79 @ 128 on 315 nitto dr’s. But the 13.5psi tune maxs out the 50# injectors so I am probably going to pick up 60#ers and re tune it and see what it does with the stickier tires. I don’t expect 10’s right away unless a good driver jumps in it.
Suspension suspension suspension. Mustangs are built to grab, focus on that suspension. Go up to a MOM’s night at NYIRP and get some pointers, most of those guys are very friendly and down to earth.
The car already has upper and lower rear control arms and drag shocks, but the front suspension is totally stock right down to the struts, so I’d like to go with a tubular front set up with coil overs. I don’t want a drag car out of this. The chassis is reinforced plenty, I will be changing the FI set up and the computer and probably will do the front suspension then. This wont be happening next summer yet but after I do that I will see how far into the 10s I can go, and then probably run a 3 link out back and make the car handle(or I will by something else that already handles good haha).
I have seen this blower run 9’s on 11psi with auto fox body’s and 347’s. A little more motor, less weight and an auto make for 9’s but my trap speed with the 13.5psi pulley isn’t much slower.

Nice Cobra! Although of all the years for that generation Mustang, those are the ugliest tail lights. But I guess you can think of it as an insult thrown at anyone you pull away from
I have a paint matched set of 96-98 tails, I always hated these ones but they grew on me with this car.
I will probably put sequential turns in the 96-98’s so I can do the ricer flasher move. Seeing these tails or the newer ones with the flashers on and sequential turns should piss off whoever I happen to pull on.
