'Balt' and other short car names

does this apply to makes too? such as scooby instead of subaru, and bimmer instead of bmw?

I like cadavalier better than cavalier and its longer

they’ve got nothing on VZW.

you won’t ever catch me using those terms…

“Who got the keys to ma bimma-ma-ma”

BROKESWAGON

^qft.

I only say dizzy on the internet, never in real life

OMG!! EVO!! Whats so hard about saying evolution viii, ix, or x! lazy fucks!

i think the only people who call integras teggys are people that have owned them, or someone from the honda world. Same with 'balt

I call my cavalier either cavy, or cavaqueer

i hate when people use chassis codes for car names.

“my GC8 is faster than your EM1”

“so what, my k-body (or 'liant for the original argument) kills your GC8 and EM1 and your DC5 and B5 and A1 and A2”

gay…

EM1 is different than ek4/9, and ej8 Which are all 96-00 civics (besides em1)

an fbod is an fbod, a jbod is a jbod

saying em1 is easier than saying 99-00 civic coupe si

ej8 is easier than saying my 1996 honda civic coupe

ek4/ek9 (usually just EK) is easier than saying my 1996/2000 civic hatchback

tibby… the worst.

S10-Sdime never a fan of that one.

I think calling a “Volkswagen” a “VW” is perfectly acceptable. Anyone disagree?

I’m going to start referring to our Legacy as just a “leg.”

Volkswagen = 3 syllables
Vee duh bul yoo = 4 syllables

Why waste an extra syllable on a silly vag car?

Why do I hate Cobalts soo much?

evo and gixxer are the only acceptable shortenings.

My friend Madeleine and I call them Tibby’s. Only because we’re usually making fun of them, and the dude bro’s who drive them. I fucking HATE Tiburon’s.

There was a dude bro who lived in my friend’s apartment complex and we’d yell TIIIIBBBBBYYYYY in a super gay voice at them. We personally thought it was hilarious. As for you guys, prob not. But I still get a laugh out of it.

so you are defending gayness?

all this benefits is the lazy loser that knows all the chassis codes off by heart but in turn makes it more difficult for those that dont want to keep up with honda (or any other make) fanboi-ism and now has to search google for the description of what that code means and sift through thousands of honda-tech.com forum hits just to find simple information.

so by posting a code, you save a few keystrokes but waste hundreds of other peoples time. you selfish bastard!

so if i said L-body youd know what that means? (rampage/scamp/omni/horizon/turismo/charger/86 Shelby GLHS omni/87 Shelby GLHS Charger)

or PL-body? (neon)

or PL2000? (2000+ neon)

or G-body? (daytona/laser)

how about P-body? (shadow/sundance/shelby csx/shelby csx-VNT)

J-body? (Lebaron 2-door coupe… not cavalier)

AA body? (Spirit/Acclaim/Lebaron)

K-body? (Aries/Reliant/Lebaron)

I didnt think so.

why do you think its a pet peeve of mine… cause it makes it a pain in the ass cause different percentages of the population are fans of different cars/stuff.

brian

you could say VDUB. Just sayin’?

You could say POS, it covers all of those
