The insurance rates for these areas must be extra insane, but I wouldn’t be surprised if insane insurance rates in certain states are equivalent to normal ones in NY and CA.
In southern alberta you basically cannot get hail insurance as a car dealership.
they are putting up large structures (canopies) instead. dealers are spending millions to do this because 1 hail storm can wipe out a full year of profits if you get hit badly with no insurance.
