Anyone have any news on what’s going on there? I see SCCA’s schedule has no BIMP dates, and the track website still has the “will be closed for 2010” message so I’m guessing that’s bad news.
No plans to open anytime soon according to the guy, Bob, that leased it from the owner (canadian I believe). From what I’ve read the property is now owned by the bank due to owners bankruptcy, and locked up tight. Bob still chimes in over on the supermotojunkie.com site here and there when riders ask about riding at BIMP. It sucks.
I remember all that BS, werent they trying to get bob to pay for the back taxes owed or something?
