Oh…yea lol, there are 2 tones when you’re getting locked. One for lock and one for when they actually fire the missiles. If you flare at the second tone they pretty much never hit, but you have to wait for your flares to reload so if you get locked again by something else in that time it can get ugly.

Try flying behind something or low enough for the missiles to hit a tree. Only if you don’t have flares.
