Thanks Joe.
If you skip the first two posts he quoted, at the very least read the third.
Other than that, since you are looking for something to cruise on, and be good on insurance and gas, then there are far better choices than anything tyou’ve listed.
A newer supersport bike like you’ve listed, does NOT belong anywhere in the same sentance as “good on insurance”. A modern SS will run you in the thousands to insure annually.
A modern 600SS has more horsepower than a liter bike of just a few years ago. Displacement is not your guide. On top of that, a 636 (or any other bike you listed) is super fast.
No one says you ever have to end up riding on the track. Bikes make great commuters, and fun cruisers. Plus you get the amazing camaradre of being a biker.
You are young, and dumb, and all the “nu-uhs” you want to post aren’t going to change that, so in the end I realize you are going to do whatever you want.
Just remember, all those 16 yr old chicks aren’t going to know the difference between an F3 or a 600RR, they are going to (with equal enthusiasm and panty wetness) say “Damn, that’s a hot bike”. The only people you’d impres with a newer bike, are 16 yr old dudes, but hey, maybe you’ve changed in the last year, and that’s what you’re in to now.
If you want serious advice, I’ll answer any question you have open minded. I’ve put more miles on bikes on the road, and tripple digit speeds on the track than probably 95% of the members on this site, and I’ve got no reason to blow sunshine up your ass.
