Nice, Ben! Minus the pesky air ride that is, sighhhhhhh.
Haha! Thanks guys.
Air ride is cool and you know it

You know my opinion on this very well I’d say, haha. Knowing you…I’m sure it’ll be great work regardless!
Well thanks! I’ll try to keep it as respectable as possible haha.
I did pick up some wheels for it as well.
Don’t mind the monster truck test fit

Man, this thread continues to hit me right in the feels. 95 Saturn SL1 was my first car.
This has to be the coolest Saturn on the board, if not ever. Love the work, keep it up!
Thanks!
Not a whole lot to talk about, but I got some parts in yesterday and was able to finish mocking up the IC piping and size some vac lines for the turbo.
The lower coupler by the rad will be a welded joint, and the two iat sensors will be down in that pipe to avoid heat soak. Also the bov will be up by the hump coupler
Hoping to get the dump tube made this weekend, and the feed plumbed, and a couple other little things. Until then, I freeze outside.
Seems like a good enough spot for the vac block
Do any of you guys have experience with composite intakes? Same material as LS intake manifolds. Id like to make these nipples on the manifold more boost friendly. I’ve been told they are fine, but a nice hose barb would make me feel a lot better. Thinking maybe sand the nipple and epoxy a female npt to barb fitting over it?

I’m totally digging this, keep up the good work.
Made up a new oil feed, mocked the assembled turbo up, now to build a downpipe
Raped my wheel on Genesee yesterday compliments of a semi’s u joint
Located and pulled the trigger on a top mount as well
Filter will tuck nicely in there ^

Finished up the power steering loop and mounted the vac block today. Not much, but it’s something.
Also bagged a mk5 tdi yesterday. Good motivation

sweet
I never thought I’d say this about a Saturn build. But this thing is sweet. Good work.
Definitely the nicest Saturn I’ve ever seen lol. Good work

What is the end goal for this? I like it…
Would like to make at least 250, maybe touch 300 would be cool.
Got all the piping back from my buddy who powdercoats, and got the downpipe buttoned up
Also got the clutch in the mail, flywheel and arp bolts in, waiting on throw out bearing and 6 puck disc. Also figured out ls egr plates are the same as Saturns.
Currently in Rhode Island paying for this bucket
