I’m wondering what GO FAST upgrades everyone is making?
I added a mid plate, polyurathane motor mounts and a polyurathane transmission mount so far. Yes I was running stock motor mounts with a motor strap last year. Man I thought that motor was goint to pop out of the hood when I launched MY BABY :scared: :doh: . Anyway, I might get a couple of hundredths out of the new stiffer set up.
I also ordered a BECK sheet metal intake and a new 90mm TB that will be ariving in a month or so. Last year I was running a FAST 78mm intake and a BBK ported and polished 80mm TB. I’m hoping for a couple of 10ths with this mod :blue:

I had a similar thread going but here’s the basics of what I’m working on…
Wolfe 6-Point Bolt-In Rollbar (done)- PA Racing Tubular K-Member and A-Arms (waiting for A-Arms to get here)- Power Steering Cooler- Freshen the Front Brakes (new pads, cut rotors)
Some other stuff I plan to have done by mid-summer…
C5 Front Brakes (freshening my stock-size stuff is just a band-aid for now)- Race Seats & Harness
Straightening out the body
Putting a 100hp Suzuki 4-banger where the 49hp 3-banger sits
Swapping over the front and rear disc brakes from a 92 Swift GT
Et cetera…
In other words, I’m spending a lot of time and money to build the most impressive shitbox around…
When I’m finished, a friend and I are going to install (if I can afford it) SSGTI’s stage two turbo kit, and I’ll have a Metro with four times the horsepower it left the factory with…
Hahahahahaha. To think Shaler is the only one of us doubling our HP during the off-season. :kekegay: I guess there’s some merit in that, even if it is a Metro.
