Why do you want blue? Are you going to be plowing snow with your 240?
tell me how this is technical, and i’ll let you keep your wicked life.
Nutta do you have a paypal account? I’ll honestly give you $5 for that comment you just made.
you mean ‘blue’ as in the colour spectrum? or blue as in a ricer marker light ? if it’s the latter then go away… if it’s the former; from the list you’ve given PIAA are the best hands down. anything over 7500K is a ‘blue’, as you get higher in the temp range it will move to a more purple colour.
If you plan to buy a set of bulbs that have a blue spectrum to them, 7500K and up is where you need to look. Blue however is much harder on the eyes of the driver and the on coming traffic. Try to stay in the 5600k region at the highest… this will give you a very clean white light. the PIAA GT-x series is a good light ption in this catagory.
RICER ALERT
In my opinion, anything over 5000K is silly on the street.
The bluer you go, the less light output you get for a given wattage.
The following site has been referenced many times, and I’m gonna refer to it again (and again and again until people start to get it…)
