So I have a dilemma from buying an S14 engine and 5 spd tranny for a S13 chassis - would finding an S13 wiring harness be the best bet, with the need to change the distributor coil? (or maybe there is more to it…) - I have both an s13 and s14 automatic transmission ECU’s
Any input? Wiring is definitely not my thing
use an S13 engine wiring harness, also get S13 ignition coil, and distributor. also what year is your S13? if its an 89-90 then you just cut the harness under your dash and just match the colours of the wires. then it will work. you will have some wires left over but thats for the consult, which you dont need at all.
otherwise wiring up full S14 stuff is a bitch.
i done this before. if you are using the soch harness cut the harness,get a maf from a ka24de.hope that helps
