Best Muffler shop in Edmonton??

Anyone here have any experience with good muffler shops that have the ability to make a custom mandrel bent downpipe here in edmonton? Or if anyone knows where i could buy a 2.5in downpipe (KA24DE) off the internet that would be even better. Thx.

I’d go 3" for teh downpipe. At the turbo, you want the largest amount of gases to leave. I’d try ABC or Speedworks. Mandrel bent tubing can be bought from B2B or warehouse services or gregg’s

I’m not sure if this is true, but I read somewhere that the KA needs a bit of backpressure to make its torque further down in the rev band. I think it might adds some grunt near the top but I’m not sure. Anyone got the downlow?

B-Wurm

all n/a engines need back pressure.

I wish i could go with a 3in … especially with all the 3in silvia downpipes available… but the “pre-downpipe” i have that connects the turbo to the stock downpipe’s location is only 2.5 in… and i don’t know if i trust a muffler shop to make a replacement for it … especially since they’d need to weld in a EGR return … wastegate return… O2 bung… and still make it fit back on the car and not break … tough

We have built alot of 3" Downpipes and complete custom exhausts as a matter of fact. We use 100% mandrel bends and make it as strong as it needs to be. We’ve had no comebacks either.

Every muffler i have bought has been from Park Muffer in Sherwood Park. I just got a 2.5 inch magna flow for the d21 for $350 for everything. I asked if they gave car club discounts and they gave me $50 off. SO BECOME A MEMBER AND GET DISCOUTS!!

Do you guys have any 3" SR downpipes in stock right now?
