burghs in bridgeville killer pie and wings… 8 dollar all you can eat lunch buffet
Here are my favorite places for pie, and then the pie(s) that I like to indulge in at those establishments.
Aiello’s - Sausage/Pepperoni or Sausage Onion
Sir Pizza - Sausage
Primanti’s - Peperoni
Garden of Eating - Pepperoni, Sausage, Green Peppers
Campiti’s - Pepperoni
Hometown -Ground Beef and Green Peppers, or Ham
Sitting at aiellos right now. It’s very good…
For pastry crust: Jioio’s - Greensburg
For NY style slices: Mama Lucia’s - Ross Twp
For Buffalo Chicken pizza: Frank’s - Shaler/Millvale/Mt Troy
Sir Pizza is always good, but not really comparable to other pizza. Sola/Vesuvio in South Side and Fiori’s in Dormont are both good, but not as good as Mama Lucia’s.
And I have eaten more pizza than all of you put together.
I think if you’ve gone to RMU you have a soft spot for Hometown.
Sorentos in oakland was awesome, but the pizza roma family bought it and the pizza went down hill, prob about 2 - 3 years ago
Pizza Roma on 19 in McCandless was fucking great back in the day…
LOL cocaine den
I personally like to make my own pizza at home. I go to Tortelli’s Pizza on rt 88 and they sell their large doughballs for 1 dollar. I can split one of their doughballs and make two large pizzas. Then I use my own sauce, cheese, and toppings. I usually make one veggie pizza w/ sausage or chicken and then a white pizza for my wife. I think the total cost ends up being like 4 bucks for two pizzas instead of 15 or 16 bucks.
