Only thing you can do is shop around. No place has better quality engines then the other. They’re all the same junk. If you can find someone who has pulled one and is selling it you’re probably better off.

Some of those “low mileage” import engines are actually domestic wrecks or junkyard finds … most commonly the ones found here already, 7mgte’s, vg33’s, vg30dett’s etc… of course rb’s and such we know are foreign :slight_smile:

Alot are from running cars dude, bought through auctions. It’s very rare to find a 2J at a wreckers unless it was a flood car. Moe @ jdirect was selling his out of the running Aristo and Riyad @ Riworx has a 1JZ half cut which is really worth considering.
