I’ve been there twice but once was on Valentines Day. I give them a pass for everything taking longer that day since every table was full for every seating. The food was still first rate. Also once they ran out of 1lb lobster tails they gave me two 10 ouncers. Win. Will def keep that in mind about Glen.
U Hots.
Where’s that?
Post up locations so we can try some of these places!
I have had much better food at Fiamma then chophouse but the best service I have ever had was at chophouse. Tempo is amazing but all in all our “fine dining” is not really on par with some other cities I have experienced. Therefore I will gladly give this award to something like Jims or Vizzis or Schwabls. This food is just so good and it is unique to Buffalo for the most part. MMMMMMMM so good.
So many of the names thrown out here are right over my head. I’m going to get fat.
I can has?
Don’t we already have this thread?
Quick search didn’t turn up anything. Could be
The point of this I guess is what do you feel deserves to be highlighted nationally as the “best in buffalo”
Just saying I needed a bit more guidance. Are we saying best quality of food? Best bang for your buck? Best pigout spot-type food like they would feature on M v. F? Hence the car analogy… there are different “best” cars based on what you’re trying to accomplish (DD, drag, track, economy, etc.)
Papaya, previously known as Tsunami
Isn’t Torches currently located where Tsunami was? I might be getting that mixed up…
I got what you were getting at, haha. Although not conveyed in my first post I guess my point was something that could be on Man Vs. Food, you know, one of Buffalo’s great pig out spots that you don’t need to spend a fortune at.
Kind of like an Evo or STI, fantastic, not super classy and great bang fo’ yo’ buck.
Man, one thing I miss about Buffalo is the vast array of restaurants… anyone who lives anywhere else can agree with me
10x better selection in Houston, and in Hartford, I hate the restaurants here. The most (non chain) restaurants per capita in the country is in Houston. Papa’s corp is also heavy in Houston, Papa’s Seafood (BP taint free for how long?) , Papa’s Steakhouse (Chop house eat your heart out), Papadeaux for caujun, down town has so many small houses converted into vegan and sushi places with patios so on and so forth. UltradriverXXXX’s is in the woodlands just north of there, I’m sure he can add to it if he’s explored any of the nooks and crannies with some natives. Spent a few years there, and wish I could go back. I had ins with BP to go work on ROV’s a year or two ago, but the economy slowed new drilling and now…
Whats the best “Indian” food restaurant around? Need to get a gift certificate to a place and have no idea of whats around.
You’ll thank me: http://www.kababandcurry.com/
lol, thats the only one I know of. Didn’t know if there were any others locally that were good/better.
