Best shop/person for minor work on 2000 accord?

Girlfriend’s friend has a 2000 accord f23 with 186k on it. Great running and driving car but is throwing p0170/p0171 (lean condition) from research online it looks to be a vacuum leak, clogged in tank fuel filter, bad injectors or maybe an 02 sensor. Don’t have the time to mess with it myself but can anyone recommend a place that has availability and that won’t take advantage of her?

Thanks

@Devioustsi

I had an 02 Accord a while ago and I think it had those codes. Ended up being a cracked purge line from the tank to the intake. It’s the hard plastic tubing. Only way to tell is to get it fogged and have a scan tool to operate the valves.

x2 for devious

pmed both with no response and she needs this done relatively soon. Anyone have any other suggestions?

yes, hold on I just need to think of his user name on here

his name is like fv8s or something, tech at ray laks and has his own shop around the Lancaster area, good work and fair

Send either one of them a text.

are you out of the game?

Totally at this point.

that sucks. you were a total life saver for me. shoot me a text if you get back at it. is devious at the same place you were? i feel like he was for some reason.

@LXIFLYBY…if any of your other leads don’t work out.

I don’t think I’ll be back in the game for a while. I would need to buy a new house with a shop on property. Hit up Gary for anything you need. He shared the shop with me and is the only other person I would trust to work on my car.
