i personally think the 350z sounds like garbage with an aftermarket exhaust… stock they sound great. I love the growl of a VR6 or even a BMW inline 6.

10cyl - none, they sound tinny and shitty for some reason
12cyl - never really heard one in person so I will pass on judgement
