I’m going to test this myself over the next couple months, I’ll post results.
heard it does help, but its really hard on seals and rings. Dont know anyone who has tried it personally. Some brake clean is 90% acetone. But good luck, im now considering this cause im still hooped on mileage too. gunna try fucking with the timimg.
guys you drive boosted cars, if your worried about fuel mileage buy a civic.
Yeah but even with a stock boosted car we should be getting better than 200-300km per tank. Right after I changed my fuel filter and fixed my vacuum leak I get wicked mileage, now I’m already back down to about 260-270km per tank. so what thats like 12-14mpg, not good. If the acetone works like its supposed to then I would bump up to like 18-20, hey its a start.
Umm you should be trying to find out the problem instead of using a band-aid solution.
With my SR at 14psi the worst milage i got was 320 to a tank. and that was a tank that was being used going down the drag strip at SCC. It i ma nice i usualy get close to 500 ish.
i think i got just over 300 with my sr…but it was cold put and that was alot of bagging on that tank lol ive only had the car a litle over a month
Yeah I got 450-525 in my SR.
I used to get 400 - 500 with my SR @ 10psi.
Now I get around 450, except my tank is 70 litres, haha. Fucking V6’s.

i get around 400 on my sr
What was it costing you guys to fill up? My S12 is about $36 Supreme and i get about 400 ish KMs(thinkl thats good or bad?). Give or take. I seem to fill up early because im paranoid about running to low with my walboro pump.
$40 for the SR
$75 for the G35
$14 for the R1, and it lasts two weeks, haha
All 92 octane

jeeze i knew you were old but 40 bones to fill a 240/silvia/180 with premium???
$55 for me but my tanks bigger
lol, this was only two years ago. I stay young by never dating girls over 21

city driving i get 350-450 km to a tank on my KA. and thats after an oil change and complete tune up  i get about 600 km to a tank highway driving though.
Both my 240s were pigs. The S14 cost $55-$65 to fill. The S13 was at least 40-50 last year this time.
I’m pretty sure I never got more than 500 kms highway driving.
