I searched.

I want to get a bicycle for when it starts to warm up. My last bike was a siq ass dyno VFR when i was 14.

I dont know shit about bikes. All I know is that I want a mountain bike. Mainly for sidewalks and roads but I want to be able to go off road also. I am going to mount a small 80cc 2-stroke onto it, but I plan to do most of my riding with the pedals.

Recommend me a bike thats fast and light that doesn’t cost $1000+. What are the name brands these days?

How fast do bikes go? 20mph? I want to make sure that given a decent amount of time, I could ride it to most places that I need to go. I will be commuting about 36 miles round trip this summer and if the bike could do that, then I’m happy.

I also want to make sure that I choose the bicycle over the motorcycle when I need to commute and only ride the motorcycle for pleasure.

Wait why do you want a light bike if youre going to put a motor on it?? Buy or find some pile of shit and do that.

I just purchased a TREK 3900 last summer, it’s a hard tail 24 speed. Very comfortable bike, light weight and easy to manage. It’s taken me through plenty of different types of terrain without any complaints. the day i brought it home i had it up to 28mph and had plenty left in it, i ran out of road. (the road was only 1000ft)
