i like the pick of Matt Gaetz however the first image tha came to mind was the scene from dark night rises where scarecrow is judge and banishing everyone .
I’ll make a call right now… Matt Gaetz never gets confirmed. I’d like to see it happen in a, “I just want to watch the world burn” kind of way but he’s attacked too many in the swamp to make it through his confirmation.
To take it a bit farther… I think Gaetz is a 4d chess move to out Thune as the swamp rino he is. When Gaetz fails to get confirmed Trump is going to lay that at Thune’s feet and Thune will have to deliver on the next several things Trump wants to save face.

The last 2 weeks politically has been like going to a nice Brazilian steakhouse. It’s everything you want and you just feast on it until you can’t take anymore. Sure, the Thune thing was like that one “eh” pork cut you tried, but then the picanha guy comes by and carves off some more melt in your mouth steak and despite being about to burst you’re like, “yeah sure, I’ll have a little more”.
