The new Moto3 will certainly infuse a lot of excitement in the 250 market. In addition to the CBR250R, it has been speculated that Yamaha will be coming out with a single cylinder R25 and also Suzuki. Unlike the Moto2 rule, which run spec engines; Moto3 have an open engine rule and any manufacturer can produce and enter their own 250cc single cylinder engine for racing.
While 250cc is mainly a class that is disregarded by the NA market, it is however a huge segment for the rest of the world. More competition will improve the breed and this might be something that finally force Kawi to forgo their ancient 250 design to maintain their market share of this segment in NA or to become one of the Moto3 team/engine supplier.

Any idea what one of those costs? Would really like something like that to cruise around on.
I’d have to do a conversion to US currency as the only listings are in Euros or Pounds.

Yeah that’s the Gladius. New sport-tourer from Suzuki. 650cc engine, Vtwin, plenty of pickup and go, very comfortable, affordable and MPG in the 50’s +
