Thanks guys, didn’t realize WD40 would do the trick. I have plenty of that lying around.
And I still think the D16 is the way I’m going to go. The price of a B swap isn’t actually that much more than a D16 would be, but I think the overall package of a turbo D would fit the car better. Plus it seems like it makes a good amount of torque when it’s turbo’d.
Just curious-what in the hell are you going to do to keep tiny tires from just vaporizing when you turbo it? Even if you go to a wheel 3" larger, you’ll have 13" wheels on it.
I’m guessing I’ll just be buying a lot of tires.
