I couldn’t go down to the bodyshop today but I got most of the body work done on the driver side side skirt, I have to go back over it with finer grit to get the scratches out still.
I also cut out the opening for the tips.
The rocker will have to be trimmed a little, but not nearly as much as I thought.

yea thats the car I thought about, ive seen that car up close. No offense to your uncle but I think the car looks too cluttered and kind of cheesy. He used Shelby scoops, the flat blocky hood, a cut out rear valence with no rear exhaust, and left the ugly factory side markers

its all good…thats the joys about building cars, we get to do them how we want. there are a few things i would have done differently, but its not my car! lol

The rear valance looks iffy in the lines and that gap on the uncles car.
It’s a spectacular looking car to an average joe, but as Dave has invested days into researching what the car is supposed to look like it’s not perfect.
He does have oval tips though :tongue

that was also my uncles car. he has since those pics sold it.
as for the twist, its a lot of lil things from the movie, like the car list, the inside of the trunk quote and the dvd player that plays the movie on a loop during the shows.
