i can only imagine how high the front end would be with no engine/trans in the car.
Since I had the day off I wanted to fix one of the big projects. I had the trunk all smoothed out and fitting nice with the end caps. BUT naturally like everything else on the car once I installed the taillight panel it no longer fit nice. It was too far sunk in and left a big gap, in addition the bottom edge wasn’t square. I probably could have just squared off the bottom and called it a day, but It would have bugged me so I had to fix it.
out comes the fiberglass
2 trips to napa and 4 hours later
strong work!!!
All show, no go, or is this shit gonna move?
right now the motor is a stock 5.0. Im gonna put some better gears, a cam, better intake, and some other bolt ons for this year, down the road ill do something better 347, 408 so on.
got the trunk and endcaps blocked sanded, hopefully for the last time. I hate redoing stuff, but I’m glad I did, it looks much better.
I also fixed the front corner of the hood, where it met the upper nose, it wasn’t long enough and dint match the contour. So i had to re fiberglass it.
I also ordered the small lights next to the headlights. Got an unopened set $100 cheaper than list price. So hopefully those will be here later this week.
oh man. BIG change from when you first put the parts on. its so much more even now. kick ass job, Dave!
I did get these in the mail today tho.
cut out the hole in the upper nose to check the fitment, now I just have to make a mounting bracket.
Duke would do better.
dont bring that shit in here
