My t3/60-1 was a good turbo for the street…
the power lever drops off at around 500whp…
t3/67HO is a decent turbo
to4R isent bad…the options are endless

I saw a kid at Salem one time had a 2g, 6 bolt swap fully built, lots of goodies for straight line. He ended up being in the low 11’s. The turbo he had was a HKS T04Z off-the-shelf. I want to say he was running around 32-35psi and started lifting the head at the end of the day.
The problem was it would smolder the tires until the shift, fall way out of boost then smolder the tires again. I think that turbo with a properly sized turbine would be a killer turbo. …who wants to spend 2500 on a turbo though
‘’ WE NEED MORE POWER CAPTIAN!"
I am not sayin not to rock a 35R. I guess i am just sayin if u got a built 2.0 then why even play with pissfuel. at the least run pump & meth and boost 30psi on that bitch. and if its not a daily driver then i say fuck all the above and it would never leave the garage without c16 or vp import in the tank.
so you bandaid a poor tune with race fuel?
so ive started a heated discussion…go me
i dont know how u gather that i bandaid a shitty tune with race fuel . i was only stating a few different options . the last being wich i would do if it was solely for racing and only racing. if not then maybe run the pumpgas/meth injection to run higher psi and get that turbo singin. plus i never have a shitty tune there ace!!!
I assumed not, but it sounded like you state to go race fuel or go home. You can make a lot of power on pump gas, which most street/strip people pretty much hold necessary. All it comes down to is the tune. The only reason I have no problems on my alltrac with its big diesel turbo is the fact that I run 10 deg of timing on a very fat base map.
