Prove it at the Track!

  1. canada sucks<<- as per pea-tear griff-in
  2. how do u have 0 posts? esp/ after u just made a post?

cause he isnt in the Gen AUto…or Technical Sections i think…i have a ??? how can they have this event and then Test our cars for db levels on a friday afternoon for a lapping day

yea are they gonna be kicking people out saying their cars are too loud?

Probably. For the price, the way it was run, and the circut design itself. I have no desire to go back to TMP.

The db level has to be under 105, most cars will pass the test.

The way what was run? CSCS??

If 110 CND is alot, for a full track day, what kind of rates are you used to paying in NY?

we paid 130 for like 8 hrs of track time…we had 2 cars not be able to run and the rest were close…hell my car is 93 dbs 10ft from the rear…so u think 100s of cars with systems and exhausts arnt gonna be past 105…

No, I’m used to paying $250-400 for a weekend at Watkins Glen.

TMP is a short track, that I personally think the layout sucks on, and is poorly managed. Not to mention the locals giving me shit about “you kids at the track” and two people being dicked around with sound restrictions that were sprung on us at the track (that were not in the contract). The STOCK BMW I was driving hit 90db according to them.

yea i think u were louder than Jeller

yea i don’t think my open wastegate would pass that…

I went the the other Xtreme Tuner Challenge show and it rained out so they gave me a ticket to come back on the 7th and an extra one. Hope to see some of u up there. I will be there with some street element peeps and the neon guy.
Yea its stupid that they have the DB rule but if u listen as the drift guys go out the screeching of tires is way louder then the exhaust.

Event is this Sat. Oct. 7…Who’s in??

They tell you to do a full rev. Do you actually have to rev to redline? No. Just rev it up to like 5k. They don’t know any better

Due to our server crashing yesterday our pre-registration deadline has been extended untill Thur Oct. 5. Our site is back up and running.

oh thats it? the wastegate won’t open with just a free rev  haha

Uhh, no? They measure on course also, and make cars go into the pits.

nevermind that thought then :stuck_out_tongue:

Jay are cars will not pass at TMP, period. Dunnville is more fun/laid back anyway.

YEA…they measure from a stand still back and side…and while ur rolling on track

Not for the event I was at. Just side and back. Never measured anything on the track.
