Isn’t UK royalty already inbred?
This reminds me of Gavin McGinnis on Joe Rogan talking about the culture of inbreeding over there.
Incredible. Never recite a land acknowledgement…
the city, the province, the Indigenous nation, and the court all ducked responsibility for notifying the landowners … and passed the buck to each other.
Put it in reverse Terry!
lol Alaskan tribes (Americans) getting into the mix in BC
top of our business news… “our guy is thinking of taking a meeting next week since he may have mispoken about something else last week. maybe”
on the front page of regular news… “our guy and the person that runs that province met to discuss something that been discussed at every other meeting and we talked and agreed on some things, including having another discussion or meeting about it and taking a photo like this with a headline. yeah”

Is this true @bing ? There’s a new US Visa for trades? No employer sponsor required?
oddly i just saw this an hour ago as well. This has always existed but there are a lot of challenges preventing it and why my program works better.
dont want to go in to any details though ![]()
So they Euthanized about the same amount of non-suicide related gun deaths in the US in the same year LOL
the MAID program is an interesting issue. folks on my/our side the political spectrum are supposed to be against it. However, the govt calculates that it will save Canada 9 maybe 10 figures in healthcare and paliative costs over the next decade or two.
to be honest, if i were terminal, in a lot of pain and had all my affairs in order i cant say i wouldnt consider it.
But it’s definitely noteworthy considering the volume of it we’re doing. Lots of PTSD ex-military and vax-injured being offered it too which isnt a good look.
I’ve always supported the idea of MAID for terminal cases, but always feared where it would lead, especially with government supported healthcare. When the same people making the laws are also paying the bills it’s a very slippery slope from helping someone with terminal cancer die without suffering to, “we’d save a bunch of money if we just convinced a lot of people to kill themselves”.
My dad had cancer for a second time, they gave him 3 month and a 10% chance of recovery. That was a year ago and his cancer has been gone knock on wood.
Cancer is a bitch. My mom had cancer for years before she passed at 49.
I can’t even tell you how many doctors tried figure out how she was still alive and kinking and not in Hospice. For at least 2 years. She was just a stubborn Scottish lady that told them to piss off.
I also support it for the terminal cases, but you need guardrails. Doctors suck, people suck and the government should never have a say.
Can we maybe try this in prisons too?
That’s where the cost savings will be and we can still keep them full once we decide to enforce laws again.
