SRSLY
like, is there any reason to keep someone like that around here?
LOL
What’s to get about someone that caps 13 heads then themself?
psyyyyyyyyychoooooo
Here’s this:
And it’s weird sitting next to the SUNY Binghamton campus right now - a siren went by and it was a little ennerving.
A gunman barricaded the back door of a Binghamton, New York, immigration services center with a car and burst through the front door on a shooting rampage
This is exactly why we should have more strict rules for issuing drivers licenses in this country. Possibly, ban automobiles altogether in light of amount of destruction one individual can cause with a well placed car.
Yikes. Guy here in Pittsburgh was just apprehended after a 5 hour stand off. He was shooting at officers with an AK47 from his living room window since 7 this morning, 3 officers killed. Crazy listening to all the gunfire live on the news. Sounded like a war zone.
Thats what i meant. And yeah your right. in the end the guy is a psycho.
I’ve been to Binghamton… I’m not surprised.
I guess the psycho’s show themselves during times of mass layoffs huh.
Pretty sick, but I guess things could be worse.
Yeah, both sides of the gun control debate (without either side being irrational) look at situations like this, and draw conclusions from it based upon their own pre-existing opinion. “We should ban guns so he couldn’t get them. If you do that, and he has the guns, you can lock him up for having them, rather than having to wait for him to kill someone.” “Banning guns won’t keep them out of the hands of anyone but criminals. So when the criminal busts in, nobody can protect themselves, and more people have to die.”
Both sides are reasonable, and the argument never goes anywhere. It happens very regularly on the SA forums, so it’s almost second nature to just tell the first person to say “Ban guns”/“Guns for everyone” to shut up. Tends to keep the thread on track.
Gun control laws are not applicable here - apparently, his guns were legal.
And in any case, his targets were mostly immigrants (not sure how many were actually citizens), therefore they were not eligible for permits anyway… that is, unless we want armed aliens in the US.
Which further reinforces my point.
Speaking of the killer, the NYPost had a rather interesting write-up that I found linked from Drudge:
http://www.nypost.com/seven/04052009/news/nationalnews/failed_life_for_killer_coward_162952.htm
Now, you don’t expect a discussion of a mass murderer to be complimentary, but I was struck by how far out of their way this author went to demean the killer. (I’m not arguing that it’s uncalled for, or white-knighting this scumbag, just making note that it’s rather unusual.)
The lunatic behind the Binghamton massacre was a pathetic, gun-loving coward who got divorced, lost his job and was driven to depression because he could barely speak English after many years in the United States…
I just don’t see why we live in a society now where people who hate their life can’t just hang themselves in their basements anymore. At what point did grabbing a gun and unloading on innocent people prove your “point”?
What ever happened to the good old days when people just jumped out of windows when they were down on their luck during a depression?
They have realized that they are not at fault silly.
If I were really depressed, I’d probably just overdose on pills.
:roflpicard:
It’s the New York Post, 'nuff said…
It’s a shame people still read that blather.
If anyone of you are so depressed you’re thinking about this… please… remember that right now the entire state government is in Albany talking about this budget.
