Anybody know how or where Nissan does their BLACK BOX?
its also called an Event Data Recorder or “big brother computer”
insurance companies will try to use it to squirrel their way out of covering you for an accident.
Cops will try use it to try to jam you up for said accident or ticket.
I have an op to get all of the computers out of a wrecked car.
unfortunately the manuals are of no help.
do they build it in with the ECU/ECM?
if anyone knows. PLEASE! post.
Better than having them sneaking into your car and have it rat you out because they were first to claim dibs on the data!
otherwise we can sit back and wait for the rules to be changed to the insurance company’s favour.
and in a little while you’ll be rear ended so bad your foot comes off the brake pedal. and they then hold you responsible for 1/2 the damage.
thin edge of the wedge people…starts small…then divides…and its never to our advantage.
